Department’s regulations

This document governs the functioning of the Department’s activities, in compliance with current laws and the University Statute and regulations. For instance, it establishes:

  • the institutional references, guiding principles and activities of the Department;
  • its locations and operating methods;
  • the internal organisation and functioning of the Department’s bodies, commissions and boards;
  • the procedures for coordinating with other facilities.

The regulations are adopted by a resolution of the Department’s Council passed by an absolute majority of its members, and must be approved by the Academic Senate after the Board of Directors has given its favourable opinion. They are issued by the Rector and enter into force after ten days from their publication on the University website.

Founding Decree

The Department was instituted on 27 April 2012 by Rector’s Decree no. 0278458.
